Back to Him follows Evie Denton, a successful author whose marriage collapses after years of emotional neglect, infertility trauma, and betrayal. When her husband, Aaron, becomes cruel and distant following her cancer diagnosis and hysterectomy, Evie is forced to confront the truth she has been avoiding: the man she loves is no longer the man she married. Everything fractures when Evie discovers Aaron is having an affair with Susan, the wife of his best friend, Beau Corbin. As both marriages unravel, Evie and Beau, long kept apart by lies, unexpectedly find solace, honesty, and strength in one another. What begins as mutual survival becomes a partnership built on trust, respect, and emotional safety. As Evie reclaims her voice, her home, and her future, she must navigate divorce, professional upheaval, family secrets, and the fear of opening her heart again. Torn between the comfort of the past and the promise of something healthier, Evie learns that love is not about endurance, but choice. Back to Him is an emotionally grounded romance about grief, self-worth, betrayal, and the courage it takes to walk away from what hurts, even when it once felt like everything.

When I started posting my stories online, I didn't expect much traction. It was a fun outlet for the ideas I had swirling around my head. My husband supported my crazy storylines and listened to me narrate out loud the silly plots I planned to write. When a publisher contacted me to see if I would be interested in releasing one of my stories, I thought I was dreaming. I soon discovered it was all a prank and my favourite hobby turned my world into a real life storyline of betrayal and heartbreak. TW: - Online abuse/bullying - Betrayal by H (no cheating)
