Amanda, a Ranger of the North was asked by Gandalf to join a quest to reclaim the lonely mountain from a Dragon. At first, Thorin was sceptical about her joining their quest. But along the way she proves her worth and loyalty. But it wasn't long before romance blossomed between Amanda and a certain black-haired archer in the group. Through trials the company will face, can they come out strong? Or will they break apart? Follow Amanda's journey as she battles to not only keep her word but for the one who has her heart.

A female descendent of many races (Her mother was a mix of elf and hobbit and her father was a mix of dwarf and wizard), lived with Mr. Butterbur in Bree, but when he came to a tragic death, she was left with no home... When she brings a gathering together of her, Bilbo Baggins and the Dwarves, she sees Kili once more, her true love. All characters created by Tolkien and Middle Earth itself. (Besides main character) Along with quotes and more belonging to Tolkien.

Banished, beaten and left for dead, Ashryn is found by a gentle hobbit by the name of Bilbo Baggins. Bilbo brings her back to his hobbit hole and nurses her back to health. He offers for her to live with him, which she gladly accepts. The two lead a rather mundane life until one day a great wizard shows up with a quest that will change everything.

When two girls fell into Middle Earth, excited at the prospects of living through their all time favourite novel, they find things are not as they seem. Something is watching them, as if they're being dared to reveal their secrets. How will they survive the challenges of the journey, dealing with the darkness that follows them, alongside certain two princes who are fascinated at everything they do, and a brooding, grumpy king who begins to suspect that they aren't telling the whole truth. Where were they from, really? They did take the rabbit hole down, after all. This is going to be a very long, slow burn fic so prepare yourself lol I'm currently a uni student, so chapters will be quite infrequent. Areth has always been different. As daughter of Kili and Tauriel, she has had to learn the hard way that being half elf/dwarf is not a desirable thing in the eyes of many.
