Would you walk into Hell... just to prove a man is guilty? Description: Detective Elira Vane, young, ambitious, and known for solving impossible cases, is assigned to Case 091-the brutal murder of a teenage girl in a quiet, religious town. The suspect, Jonas Mire, was arrested swiftly after damning evidence pointed to him. A former mortician with a disturbing past, Jonas hasn't spoken a single word since his arrest. But ever since Jonas was locked in Cell Six of Saint Holt Penitentiary, the prison has turned into a nightmare. Staff are dying. Not just dying-mutilated, disfigured, and left in ways that seem ritualistic, inhuman, or hellish. No cameras catch the killings. There are no signs of break-ins or escape. Those who survive describe whispers through the walls, cold hands reaching from shadows, and nightmares that continue even after waking. Everyone who's dared to reopen Case 091 ends up dead-or mad. In response, the prison is placed under full lockdown. Only a minimal, essential staff remain. No media. No contact with the outside world. Jonas Mire is completely isolated, guarded around the clock. Still, the deaths continue. Now, Detective Vane is being asked to take on the case-alone. Before she leaves, her chief pulls her aside, voice low and serious: "Elira... no one else will take this. They're scared. Hell, I don't blame them. But people are dying-good people-and we can't keep ignoring it. We need someone who can look past the fear and get to the truth. Someone who doesn't run from the dark. That's why I'm coming to you. You've cracked cases others wouldn't touch. You see what others can't. We trust you. I'm not asking this as your chief-I'm asking as someone who still believes the victims deserve justice." -ONGOING
