But because of his huge secret, he couldn't bring himself to kill an innocent dragon. So he did what was right for him, for his secret, for Berk. And he ran away. Astrid Hofferson, fearsome warrior of Berk, never really talked to Hiccup when he was around, but not long after he left, Berk pronounced him dead. Stoick didn't leave his house for weeks, Gobber was mourning his good friend and apprentice. Astrid soon realised how much help he actually did for Berk and how they all took the boy for granted. Hiccup Haddock III was sick and tired of his life. He was tired of getting pitied glances everywhere he went. He was sick of overhearing conversations about how ashamed his father must feel of him. But all that changed when he was given the privilege to kill a Monstrous Nightmare. He couldn't kill it, though. He wouldn't. He couldn't betray his only friend. The one being that didn't judge him. So he ran away. Ran away from his family and his home. Everyone thought he was dead, but when a mysterious dragon rider comes back to Berk with news, the visit doesn't go very well. The Berkians are Vikings; it's in their nature to be stubborn and they don't take too kindly to strange masked visitors that ride Night Furies. Gobber couldn't convince Stoick to let Hiccup into the ring for dragon training, but situation gets complicated, when Hiccup faces a Monstrous Nightmare during a raid again. Except this time things go very differently thanks to certain black dragon. Over time an unbreakable bond is formed between two lonely souls.

The Dragon was said to be a myth or legend, a creator and destroyer, this fantastical creature was many things, but in the world, we are about to see, they were heroes. 15-year-old Hayden Haddock had been an outcast at Berk general High ever since he started, he was short, gangly, and to be honest a nerd. He was as normal as a nerd came, a target for bullying, top of his classes, his mother dead, his father barely paying attention to him, and had a crush on a girl far out of his league. But, things for Hayden we're about to change, as the story goes his whole life was turned upside down when an unexpected visitor shows up at his father's mansion after dropping out of the Drekan program. He makes a split-second decision and runs away, leaving his father and the school confused, but their lives goes on. Five years pass, the city is gripped by crime, a new team of heroes does what they can, but an outlier comes into the game as the famous vigilante Night Fury. When the heroes are in their most desperate time they call to the vigilante for help and when his identity is revealed old wounds start to heal. Heroes come in all forms, some are strong, others smart, but a real hero is never measured by his fame, they are instead measured by their willingness to always save one person no matter the cost.
