Por otro lado, el joven Nero vio morir a su amada Kyrie en sus brazos tras no llegar a tiempo para salvarla de los demonios que le arrebataron la vida a la pobre muchacha. Esto hizo que el chico perdiera la esperanza, sin ella para él nada tenía sentido, y se refugió en las cuevas como un humano más a pesar de que Dante y Lady le insistían en que necesitaban su ayuda más que nunca. Pero de entre la oscuridad siempre surge una chispa de luz, y dicha chispa es una chica que fue entrenada por su padre, Coronel de las fuerzas especiales de EE.UU., para ir al ejército y ahora lucha contra los demonios gracias a sus habilidades físicas y mentales. La vida de esta joven aspirante a caza demonios se cruza con Dante y Nero, poniendo sus vidas patas arriba al igual que ellos hacen lo mismo con la suya. Ella deberá estar segura de a cuál de los dos elige su corazón mientras lucha por salvar a la humanidad, pero quién sabe qué armas ocultas tendrán aquellas bestias demoníacas.
