1820s. John Lennon (24) works as the apprentice of a well-known portraitist and is tasked to do the picture of the young Mr Paul McCartney. He is the eldest son of Jim McCartney, a wealthy and powerful landowner, and has the reputation of an arrogant, spoiled brat with a pretty face, who has a way of wrapping anyone around his finger. In 1964, two Liverpool lads are both on top of the world, and feeling the weight of it on their shoulders. Paul McCartney and John Lennon are half of the band The Beatles that is taking the World by storm, yet when they discover they are both undoubtedly attracted to each other, things seem to become more complicated. With homosexuality despised and hidden away, Paul faces the fight between what he knows is right, and what he knows he should do. "How could something feel so right, yet so wrong at the same time?"

The infamous Hanahaki disease spread the nation as the boomers of the 40's and 50's came about. Fortunately, only 2% of the population has it. Unfortunately, a certain McCartney has it, and things dont go well when his love of his life is married to Yoko Ono.

When Paul notices how strange John is acting towards him, he decides to devise a plan to figure out what's wrong. John, however, has a different idea on his mind, on account of his twenty-first birthday. --slur warning --they both have internalized homophobia, Paul moreso than john --there is eventual smut lol so that tells you how that went --graphic in some places (fighting, sex, period typical attitudes, etc) --John is rough with a girl in chapter 2 --smut is indicated in chapter titles with asterisks, chapter 8 tells of a smutty dream john recalls having about paul

Things seem to be looking up for teenager Paul McCartney in the summer of 1955, up until his mother falls seriously ill. After her death, he writes his feelings in a diary he got for his birthday, not thinking that maybe one day his father would come across it. His secrets lead to his downfall, and now Paul has to learn how to deal with his new life. (A/N- I've only been to Liverpool once so sorry if some of these things are incorrect, however most of the aspects of this story are supposed to be different to what actually happened.)

Takes place around 1964 - 1965. Paul and John are dating and... something happens. A lot of fluff. There may be some inaccuracies to real life in terms of when certain things were written, how they were written or who exactly wrote what, but just remember it's a fan fiction, not real life!
