One Year Left
Danielle has been given the one thing no one ever wants to hear : one year to live.
After being diagnosed with a brain tumour, Danielle decides she has nothing left to lose. With no family or anyone waiting for her in Australia, she makes one final decision-to leave everything behind and move to Korea, the birthplace of her mother.
She arrives with only one goal: to spend her final year on her own terms.
No attachments.
Danielle wants to make memories without giving anyone the chance to become a part of her life, because saying goodbye would be easier if she never had anyone to say goodbye to.
But then she meets Haerin, her neighbour.
And evrything changed.
With every passing day, Danielle is faced with a question she desperately tried to avoid:
Can you truly live your last year without letting someone become your reason to live?
Maybe Korea was supposed to be the place where Danielle spent her final days.
Or maybe it will become the place where she finally learns what it means to truly live.
But when time is the one thing they don't have enough of, will their story be worth the pain of its ending?
