I wrote this when I was in my cringy phase, so this is very cringy and bad. You have been warned. Shay is just an ordinary teenage girl who is obsessed with rock bands. Or how she wants everyone to see her. At home, she is abused daily by her father, bullied by her peers and self-harms. Inside, she wants to kill herself. But one day, her mother appears after a long hiatus and takes her away from the abuse. She hopes to start a new life when she moves to San Jose. At her new school, she meets Johnnie Guilbert, an adorkable boy with as many demons as her. As Johnnie and Shay get closer, the demons start to pour out. Will they be able to stay together and fight, or lose each other in the black?
