Jack finds himself suddenly summoned to a new world alongside a group of young students. A mysterious voice, calling itself a 'Saintess' informs them that they have been chosen to fight against the Undead Legion led by the Revenant Monarch. While the students marvel at their newfound powers, Jack doesn't find himself at all excited. When he checks his own stats, he discovers that his class is 'Tamer' - Something the Saintess deems worthless in the battle against the undead. Dismissed as useless, the Saintess casts him into the 'Great Labyrinth,' a vast dungeon at the heart of the world, offering him a chance at earning her favour, if he survived.
