Jack finds himself suddenly summoned to a new world alongside a group of young students. A mysterious voice, calling itself a 'Saintess' informs them that they have been chosen to fight against the Undead Legion led by the Revenant Monarch. While the students marvel at their newfound powers, Jack compares the situation to the fantasy stories he read in his childhood. When he checks his own stats, he discovers that his class is 'Tamer' - Something the Saintess deems worthless in the battle against the undead. Dismissed as useless, Jack demands to be sent back to his world, but the Saintess refuses, claiming it would be a waste of her power. Instead, she casts him into the 'Great Labyrinth,' a vast dungeon at the heart of the world, offering him a chance at earning her favour, if he survived.
