In a world surrounded by evil and shadows, a young healer's defiance becomes legend. When Vaela Thorne is dragged to the Mountain, a place of nightmares ruled by a monster in silk and blood; her fate seems sealed. Scarred, silenced, and stripped of everything but the fire in her veins, she refuses to kneel for a self-proclaimed 'High Queen'. But night watched her from the throne's edge: Rhysand, feared High Lord of the Night Court, whose cruelty is matched only by the secrets behind his eyes. The High Lord recognizes her as the ghost of a female he would dream of; he then takes her as his 'pet', where Vaela and Rhysand are forced into a deadly dance of masks and a bargain, where every lie hides longing, and every touch is edged with danger. When they shattered the chains from Amarantha, and Rhysand calls upon their bargain, he takes Vaela to his Court. Where they both fought to know and find freedom once more. But Prythian was never truly free: an ancient evil darkness stirs in the forgotten corners of the world. Not of this realm, hungering for destruction, it's gaze fixed upon Vaela and the secret she carries deep in her soul. Now the fate of courts and hearts hangs in the balance. And as love blooms in the heart of night and war shadows the horizon, Vaela must reckon with who and what she truly is. ✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦ Ranking history: #1 in acourtofthornsandroses #1 in rhysand #1 in cassian #1 in romantasy #1 in throneofglass #1 in elf #1 in azriel #1 in tog ✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦ •Rhysand x Main OC and eventually later on through the story: Azriel x OC and Cassian x OC. •This story will have a different story plot than the original. •Story is 18+ only. •Peep my patreon for 'Fated' content and spicy art ;) •DISCLAIMER: All rights of the ACOTAR universe belong to Sarah J Maas except for my OC's.

Cassindra Nytheris is no stranger to death. Daughter of famed rebel Generals burned alive by dragon flame, she carried both their legacy and the weight of their loss. Basgaith War College is not for the feint of heart, and with rebellion relics inked across her skin, Cassindra is bound for the Riders Quadrant, where failure means death. With only her fellow rebellion children and a handful of unlikely allies to trust, Cassindra must endure brutal training, cataclysmic secrets, and the cold, calculating gaze of Xaden Riorson, who might already care more than he lets on. A dragon without its rider is a tragedy, a rider without their dragon is dead. [Xaden Riorson x OC]

A dragon without its rider is a tragedy. A rider without their dragon is dead. - Article One, Section One, The Dragon Rider's Codex "Anyone else feel like changing their mind?" Xaden shouts, scanning the remaining rows of cadets with the same shrewd gaze of the navy-blue dragon behind him. "No? Excellent. Roughly half of you will be dead by this time next summer." The formation is silent except for a few untimely sobs from my left. "A third of you again the year after that, and the same your last year. No one cares who your mommy or daddy is here. Even King Tauri's second son died during his Threshing. So tell me again: Do you feel invincible now that you've made it into the Rider's Quadrant? Untouchable? Elite?" No one cheers. Another blast of heat rushes - this time directly at my face - and every muscle in my body clenches, preparing for incineration. But it's not flames... just steam, and it blows back Rhiannon's braid as the dragons finish their simultaneous exhale. The breeches on the first-year ahead of me darken, the color spreading down his legs. They want us scared. Mission accomplished. "Because you're not untouchable or special to them." Xaden points toward the navy dragon and leans forward slightly, like he's letting us in on a secret as we lock eyes. "To them, you're just the prey." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Who is that?" "Rhae Sorrengail, the forgotten daughter. She's Violet's twin, they're nothing alike though. Violet is the calm before a storm, and Rhae is the hurricane. The anger and stubbornness of that woman are insane." "God forbid she and Xaden stay in the same room for too long. Someone would likely end up dead." Started: June 5, 2025. Princess Clarke Tauri has always been a symbol - the jewel of the Serran Empire, second in line to a throne she never asked to inherit, trained in diplomacy, etiquette... and how to weaponize a smile. But when war bleeds across the continent and rebellion ignites in the shadows, her father sends her to Basgiath War College with one order: Watch. Learn. Do not bond a dragon. But Clarke has never been good at following the rules. Thrust into the brutal world of Rider Quadrant, she enters under her true name - publicly royal, infamously spoiled, and far more dangerous than anyone expects. Her peers whisper that she's a pawn. A liability. A crown with no place on the battlefield. Until she starts proving them wrong. With a sharp tongue, secret scars, and a fire that won't stay buried, Clarke begins to carve her own legend - and catch the attention of two very different men: Dain Aetos, the golden boy with loyal hands and a wounded heart... and Garrick Tavis, the scowling wing leader who sees too much and trusts nothing. But dragons don't bond to pretty titles or whispered threats. And as tensions rise between rebellion and regime, Clarke must decide what she's willing to burn to become more than a symbol - to become something real. Because in Basgiath, surviving is a choice. Becoming fire is a declaration.

Alina Valoria once believed in the goodness of the world-believed in friendship, in faith, and in a future filled with warmth and safety. She believed in him too-the boy she was never meant to love, her brother's best friend, the one her heart chose long before she understood the cost. But war has a way of turning belief into ash. When war and tragedy tore her from her family and the boy she loved, Alina learned how merciless the world could be. How a heart can shatter quietly and still be forced to carry on. How someone raised to shine with hope can be remade by grief and survival. She vowed never to depend on anyone but herself again. Entering the Riders Quadrant to honor her family's legacy, Alina expected hardship, loss, and the brutal truth of war. What she didn't expect was to face everything she once mourned as if it had died-alive again, altered by war, and no longer the people she remembers. Time and battle carve new versions of us, and not all of them survive with their humanity intact. Least of all the boy she once loved. Within a kingdom trembling under ancient prophecies and the truth of fables, Alina finds herself caught between duty, faith, and a fate whispered about since before she was born. Here, loyalty can ruin, love can destroy, and belief is a dangerous thing to hold. As the gods turn their gaze back to the mortal world, Alina must decide which pieces of herself she is willing to sacrifice-and what she will fight to protect, even against destiny itself. This is a story of war, faith, and forbidden love-of a girl hardened by fate and a boy forged by loss, bound to a prophecy that could save their world... or end it.
