Hawk Moth has finally been defeated, however, it came at a cost for Ladybug... Marinette Dupain-Cheng lost everything: Her friends, her family, her partner, and everything that was important to her. Lila Rossi's lies had he friends turn on her, despite the trust and friendship they had connected to one another. Her parents fell sometime after. Her partner, Cat Noir, had gone mad and hates her now. Her dreams of becoming a Fashion Designer have become only a faded memory. Here she is. A waitress in some cafe. Hired by a boss who seemingly dislikes her. With little actual human company. However, not all hope is lost... Peter Parker, who has lived in New York since his birth, going to Midtown High, soon enters Marinette's life. And soon enough, she's welcomed into his world with open arms, and a comforting hug with warmth she hasn't felt in ages. And in addition New York's very own superhero, the Amazing Spider-Man, helps to cheer Marinette as well, encouraging her to become Ladybug once more and defend New York alongside him. A light has reawakened within her... Marinette's once ruined web of life is being helped re-woven back together by "two" little spiders. The girl in distress wants to believe that things can go back to the way they once were, but can they...? Pete and Spidey are both walking reasons to say, "Yes". And...why is Peter beginning to sound so unexpectedly familiar the more Marinette gets to know him more?
