Mira and Zoey were always friends. Until one night something happens, and when the two girls wake up they can't really remember anything, besides waking up next to each other. There only shared memory, is that they were definitely both drunk. Except Mira remembers a little more than just that. She remembers Zoey lips. And the party. And lingering feelings. But why would Mira tell Zoey any of that? Especially if Zoey can't remember. Zoemira angst, because my other Zoemira story is too happy and I don't want to make it sad. Mira hummed as she glanced up at me, her gaze locking with mine as she stared with those beautiful brown eyes. "Yeah, what's up?" She asked so innocently, and I searched for words like I was about to break something fragile. Mira loved me. How could I be so cruel? "It's about Zoey." "What about her?" Mira tilted her head in confusion, oblivious to the tone of my voice, my loss for words, and the heartbreaking shimmer in my eyes that is screaming a million apologies. I stammered as I let out the dreaded words, my throat aching with a loathing guilt. "I love you. I really do. But recently.. My feelings have been, well.. Complicated." "Complicated how?" Her face pricked with perplexity, her stare darting from me, to my twitching hands, my hesitating eyes, then into her lap. My heart felt like it was about to snap into two. Then, her face shifted. The realisation creeping in as she processed the statement in real time. "Oh." - OR Mira falls first x Rumi falls harder than bam Zoey slides in really attractively and they start throupling up or something idk 🤔 - Apologies for mischaracterisation !!
