A story in which a twelve year old girl on the ark, locked up for secrets she has yet to reveal, gets sent down to the mysterious earth with 99 other teenage criminals in order to see if earth is still liveable after a radioactive explosion. Katherine Kane was born on the Ark, a space station that was home to the last surviving members of the human race. Being the trouble-making kid of Marcus Kane made her well known among the guards on the Ark, however being the kid who leaked classified information on the truth about her family caused her to be well known in Prison Station. Katherine was awaiting her 18th birthday to be executed for her crimes but was instead told that she and 99 other teenager prisoners were being sent to Earth for the first time in 97 years since the nuclear apocalypse. But how can a bunch of teenagers survive a radiation-soaked planet? [Season 1] *disclaimer* I don't own any character expect for Katherine Kane (a few other originals that'll pop up along the way). The plot belongs solely to the CW "the 100" writers and producers. It's based loosely on the book series but follows (for the most part) the plot of the CW show. Her sister, Arlo Riv Kane, managed to convince her dad and the council that she needed to die in Hailey's place, allowing Hailey to live just as long as she did but in the Skybox. After her 21st birthday, which marked her fourth year in the Skybox, the council made a decision. They were going to send 100 delinquents to the ground as an experiment to see whether the level of radiation was survivable or not. In doing so, they managed to sentence almost all of them to an untimely death that was almost inevitable. With the idea of freedom, Hailey knows that she is never safe and that if weaknesses are shown, someone will use them against her. Will she be able to overcome her emotional and mental walls, even if it means that she'd be vulnerable? Being on the ground will change Hailey in ways that the people on the ark would never expect. She will find a better version of herself. Hailey will become what she was always meant to be, a warrior.
