Caine is brewing up an antidote for the abstractions, when Pomni stubbles across it. After Jax trips Pomni when it's in her possession, she's been affected by it and has started to develop strong feelings towards Jax. When Jax is forced to play along, he begins to reciprocate feelings. However, a yandere lurks inside the digital circus, who wants Pomni all to themselves. (extreme cringe warning)

After the loss of the one closest to him, Jax finds himself conflicted emotionally. Known for his cheaply playful remarks and sarcastic yet hurtful stabs at others around him, he can't help but feel responsible for the tragedies that occurred. With almost everyone against him, he once again feels like maybe his time has come, but that's when a newbie arrives at the circus and shows him maybe it's not time to give up after all. (set after Episode 6) After Caine's latest spectacle, Pomni begins to suspect that the circus's absurd sense of normalcy is nothing more than a façade. The bright colors, the festive missions, and the host's endless laughter hide cracks that are slowly widening, letting slip whispers and fragments of something long lost. Jax, always shielded by his cynicism, seems to know more than he lets on. In his eyes lie broken memories and a fear that betrays his constant mockery. Between him and Pomni grows a tension impossible to ignore: a blend of rejection, complicity, and secrets no one dares to name. But the system's errors aren't just harmless glitches. Distorted voices, strange reflections, and fractured memories begin to surface. What once seemed like a nonsensical circus may in fact be a prison-one that holds truths far too dangerous to ever be revealed.

Jax grinned "Every time she looks at me, you stiffen like your plastic heart's about to crack. You hate that she might actually like me more.." he sneered. Ragatha scoffed, "You don't deserve her! You hurt everyone who gets close, but Pomni isn't a toy, Jax!" He shot a glare at her, "You think just because YOU play nice, you win her heart by default?? That's not how it works." he snapped. Her eyes narrowed at him, "Were you... spying?" she inquired. "Spying? Nah. Just enjoying the show. You and Pomni, it's like watching a rom-com," a smirk formed on his face "She was thanking me, Jax. For being supportive. Something you wouldn't understand" "Supportive? Please! You're clinging to her, it's obsession and Pomni is just too oblivious to notice," he argued. "Every time she smiles at me, your whole act cracks. You think I don't see it?" "She doesn't even know who you really are, Ragatha! Behind all that fake kindness, you're just as broken as the rest of us.." Jax shot back, turning away. "And you think you know her better? All you do is confuse her. You tease her, push her away, then vanish. She doesn't want that, she wants to be cared for," Ragathas tone raising. Jax growled, "You mean she wants you? That's cute, her eyes lit up when I talked to her yesterday. You saw it." "That doesn't mean anything. She trusts me. She opens up to me. You make her anxious because you toy with her." "I know I do, but at least I make her feel. Something real. Not this fake, safe, sterilized version of affection you're giving her" "You really think pain is better than peace??" She shot back. Jax turned to face her again, "I'd burn this place down if it meant she'd look at me the way she looks at you," he replied flatly. "You want her to love you, Jax... but you're so afraid she might that you ruin it before she has the chance...you push her away, and she runs to me" "And you're so desperate to be loved that you smother her with affection and pretend it's love."

Jax discovers a little secret, and who would he be if he didn't make a big deal out of it? When he discovers Ragatha has a crush on Pomni, he decides to hit on Pomni first. Of course, he doesn't actually like her; it's just a big prank towards Ragatha, but the longer it goes on, the harder it becomes to remember it's a joke.
