Eurovision 2025 brings more than just music to Basel; it weaves together two voices from neighboring countries, unintentionally singing in the same key.
Celine, lead singer and quiet fire of Latvia's Mani Kauli, isn't looking for anything in terms of her newfound spotlight. Lukas, frontman of Lithuania's Katarsis, isn't looking for anything at all. But exchanged backstage glances that linger for just a second too long, and accidental, then later more purposeful, late-night conversations in the midst of all their chaos, slowly grow into the kind of connection that neither of them quite know how to define, nor let go of.
With music as both a mirror and an undercurrent, Celine and Lukas move through a world that doesn't pause, trying to find a rhythm that holds them both.
This is a story of the spaces between people, and the choices we make to cross them. Of returning to familiar cities with changed hearts. Of kissing between verses, but not yet being quite sure what the chorus means.
It's not quite a love story. Not yet. But it's humming beneath the surface, waiting for its cue.
(ongoing. romance, music, intimacy, and distance - in every sense.)
((ill write a more convincing description when i finish the story; im not yet quite sure what path i want it to go down))
