Marshall has a bright future in Hockey ahead of him. He's the top defenseman in the country, and no one can get in his way. He's not your typical jock in the school, but he wasn't a shy kid either. Everyone respected the Captain of the Adventure Bay High School hockey team. His love life was filled with confusion and curiosity; thus, his focus was on playing college Hockey and hopefully the National Hockey League. Everest was a shy girl from the surface, but was well known across the school. She was all about kindness and being loving to all. Everest was someone who had no enemies at all and was well respected by everyone as well but in a different sense than Marshall. Marshall was ready for the upcoming season until he realized that his grades needed to be higher before he could start playing, and Marshall wasn't the smartest when it came to school. Marshall has loved Everest since the day he met her, but he has one problem. He could never confess to the Husky. As the years went by he began to have less and less confidence in himself and thought it was best to not worry about confessing anytime soon. One day when Everest meets another pup, a strong and good-looking Lab, Everest immediately starts to fall in love with him. The problem only got worse for Marshall, as he was set to go to Dallas Texas to compete in a dog firefighter competition and was going to be on vacation for a while. Tragedy struck the Dalmatian, as he was in an incident that changed his entire view of the Firefighter Competition. From making new friends to not being mentally stable, to needing to confess, to past traumas that continue to haunt Marshall. He had to do whatever it took to overcome these obstacles. With Marshall gone, he knew that Everest and the Lab would spend more time with each other. Thus he had to confess. He knew that he had to make a move before the lab would. An unfortunate accident has claimed Marshall's life and the Paw Patrol tries to move on the best they can, hoping to cope without the best fire pup in the world, But just as they do, Chase makes a discovery that may give him a chance to replace what was once lost.

Everest receives a letter from a relative who lives in Russia, and will have to leave for Siberia. Not wanting to go on the trip alone, she'll ask Marshall to accompany her. But when they arrive at their destination, the two will discover the chilling reason why Everest was called.
