But peace doesn't last forever as an old enemy resurfaces and attacked the world, once the initial assault was done and repelled? it was time for a counter attack where a team of KANSENs are to head into a portal in the Pacific to see where it leads to, but knowing the fate of the entire world is on their hands? They are going to risk everything and find out who or what's causing this resurgence.

USS Ticonderoga was built in 2018 after Gerald R. Ford was commissioned in July 22, 2017 and the invasion of the Sirens in November. July 4th in 2019 outside New York City, the sirens sabotaged a rocket and just like CVN-65 it was a disaster heavily damaging it but it was fixed 2 months later. January 21 2022 the sirens were at their last stand the end is near but at what cost?

This story is quite..... sad in a way. She taught her everything she knows but yet she feels useless and thinks Belfast is fine on her own.... Or so she thought.. Story inspired by @Elect0sharkus story "On the Other Side". Partly Tagalog because of the dialogue between male OC and his family. As well OC and the Crane sisters. Shoukaku and Zuikaku found themselves in familiar bodies of water where they met their demise. Reborn and reconstructed in an altered past where an alien race threatened humanity. After defeating the Sirens. The alternate world where the warships became girls enjoyed peace. Thus preventing the use of atomic and nuclear power as weapons of mass destruction. But in the real world peace is highly hard to maintain as a new type of power struggle is emerging. Particularly in the very waters where both girls were sunk when a third world country is being bullied by its supposed to be friend. At first both girls enjoy their lives as naturalized citizens of the Philippines. They have forgotten about their past duties. They are now living as normal civilians. Until fate decided to play its ugly hand. As a fighter pilot decides to eat in their restaurant. He offers them to join the military. Something they have completely forgotten. The pilot is a Filipino citizen serving in the US Navy. He is also a Top Gun graduate. And his carrier strike group is currently based in Pearl Harbor where the other ship girls that they worked and fought with. Especially in the battle against the Sirens. Will they renew their military duties? Or will they refuse and continue living a peaceful life. Find out in "Azur Lane: Shoukaku and Zuikaku, Change of Duties".

Mark Fleetwood or as he was referred to by everyone "Sparky", was a rural Nevadan who lived with his aunt and uncle due to an unfortunate accident involving his parents. The only thing Sparky had from his parents was a blue, crystal-like, cube about the size of a dice that was with with them when they were found. Mark carried it in his pocket at all times like a good-luck charm . Sparky usually spent most of his days laying on a hill that overlooked the nearby Fallon Naval Air Station. He could watch the planes take off and land all day. It captured his sense of wonder, and he knew that one day he wanted to be a pilot. In December of 1941 The Japanese Empire Attacked Pearl Harbor resulting in 2,403 deaths on the U.S. side. As soon as Sparky heard the news he had his uncle drive him to the nearest Naval recruitment center and he enlisted in the naval flight academy. After his training was complete he was assigned to the USS Hornet which he treated as a second home. The Admiralty saw it fit for Sparky to pilot a F4F Wildcat fighter aircraft thanks to his outstanding control over the planes he flew which would be especially valuable in a dogfight. Sparky made it aboard the Hornet just in time to participate in the Battle Of Midway where he proved his worth as a pilot after shooting down three Japanese Aichi D3A Dive-bombers as they were preparing to drop their bomb loads on the Hornet. After the Battle Of Midway Sparky felt a connection to Hornet and vowed to himself that he would protect her at any cost.
