Hiccup had enough from everything in his life . getting ignored, bad mouthed and bullied just because he was different from everyone in his tribe. So without any good reasons to stay any longer ,he banished himself with his only friend he ever got from his tribe , even from his father. After everything he went through and all the miserable things he suffered, He doesn't want anything from them anymore... But fate has something different for Hiccup. Having everything he ever wanted, the acceptance for being himself , the better treatment and the love from somewhere after his 14 mistreatment years, got ruined by some people he never wanted to see for almost 8 years after banishing himself and toothless his dragon..... what will Hiccup do ? Will it bring something unexpected to Hiccup? Night Rider - A httyd and Hiccstrid book. -Astrid's pov- 8 years. That's how long it has been. 8 lonely, cold, devastating years of my life that I will never get back. Every night I dream the same dream - every night the same day returns to haunt me over and over. That day dramatically changed my life for the worst. Why did that day happen? Everyone learnt to leave me in peace in the morning. Everyone knew my deepest, darkest secret that changed people's opinions of me forever. Everyone knew my arch enemy, but only 2 people know why he is my arch enemy. My friends still talk to me, just not in the same way as they used to - it's almost as if they are scared of me, or don't want to be associated with me. One day I want this to change. One day I want my life to turn around. One day I will truely be me again. One day I will be happy. One day I will be free. I cannot see that day in the forseeable future, but I know it will come, and I know somehow it is connected to my enemy. *I know that it is an over-used story line but I tried to spice it up a little. Kinda like how you may always eat a Chicken Masala and then you try a Vindaloo - they're both food and both curries but one is different from the other* There are extra chapters at the end containing side-stories of this book. It will make more sense when you read the chapter titled: 'The little boat' near the end of the book, but the actual story is 60 chapters long.

An alternate ending to "A World Without You" involving Hiccup's death. The riders were unable to get back to him in time... Hiccup and his fellow riders try to defend the edge from another dragon hunter attack led by Viggo and his brother Ryker. But during the battle, Hiccup gets injured and tries to hide his pain from his friends. But when the dragon hunters attack the edge again soon after, fighting the hunters leads Hiccup to get captured and in the hands of the hunter brothers. Can his friends get Hiccup before more harm is done?

Viggo lies to everyone and ambushes both Hiccup and Astrid. Seeking revenge he leaves Hiccup badly injured and takes Astrid captured with him making her his pet. Weeks pass by and no sign of Astrid is found anywhere. Hiccup on the other hand, who wakes up from a coma after communicating with her through dreams, worries when Astrid stops seeing him. Can he get her back? (Takes place in an AU world where Viggo took Astrid instead of falling into the volcano. Also. He's interested in her. The first version was discontinued. The new version is recently being worked on.
