And we don't know when Will's birthday is. But I think he turns 16 between the hidden oracle and tower of Nero? Idk I haven't finished TOA yet. Either way, they'd be a year diffrent in September but... I don't really have any justification actually. Oh well? Will hasn't been to school since he started camp around his early teen years (probably. He gets to camp at 10 canon). And Nico... Yeah. Anyways. In one hypothetical year, they both decide to not stay at camp for all year, and go to a Mortal high school. Will tells Kayla to call for anything. Kayla is half-"I got this" and half-"DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE ME, WILL!" And yeah. 2 very powerful demigods. One of whom is a child of the big 3. And one of which who isnt the best fighter?
