Nyctophilia (n.) -love of darkness or night. finding relaxation or comfort in the darkness --- Life isn't always easy. Sure there's some ups, but there's also downs. My life went downhill real fast the day I lost my voice. The day I stopped talking to any human being. The day that all of it changed the entire way around. I honestly thought I'd stay that way forever... you know, quiet, introverted, sad, but mostly scared. Until I met him. Until he came and changed everything for the best without even knowing it. --- Nyctophilia Heather Walker used to be a ray of sunshine. The kind of person who put a smile on your face with one single glance. Surely, her life was too perfect to be real. Everything got ruined that one night. Since, she hasn't pronounce a word or even communicated with someone who isn't family or best friend. Since... she hates the world. She despises it. Until he comes along. Until he opens a door for Nyctophilia. A door that leads to something she hadn't believed in for years. A door towards hope. Aaron Christopher Black aka your typical underground fighter. Tall, muscular, extremely handsome, but mostly scary. His glare could kill someone easily. He could snap your bone in two without even trying. He is the guy your parents warned you about. Nonetheless, everyone has a reason to their actions, right? No one really knows why he's so cold and mysterious... until she comes in the decor. Ah, will the big bad guy be able to resist to sweet Nyctophilia or will he be whipped so easily no one would believe he really is terrifying? --- ⚠️TW⚠️ This book can contain really sensitive subjects such as self-harm, rape, self-sabotage, eating disorder, depressed thoughts, strong languages and such. I will not put a trigger warning at each chapter, so read at your own risk. I warned you, if you're still reading and it triggered you, it is not on my part anymore.

"I'll sue you for slander." "Well, that would prove my point, wouldn't it?" IN WHICH - Dorothea Madison is a wife and mother who is supposedly living her dream life in The Lakes, an Upstate New York suburb known for its nature and happy people. She has the house, the kid, and the pride of her job as an entertainment content writer for a major publication in NYC. On paper, and according to her Follower counts, she has it all. But even having the *perfect* life gets a little boring, and so one day she decides to take one of her writing assignments a little off-script. Little does she know that Taylor Swift, AKA the subject of her article, would not find this little attempt at escaping boredom to be the least bit entertaining. *Note: This is a work of fanfiction. Taylor Swift is the definition of a American high school girl, the girl you imagine when watching a soppy teen romcom. Shes always dressed up, fashionably late and you can smell her perfume from a mile away. She's the Regina George of Rosevelts High. Gracie Abrams has had a very rough life. Her dads in prison ever since she was born, and two years ago her mom passed. Now eighteen, and a senior in high school she can live on her own and she takes that quite literally. Shes never on time, skips a lot and has more joints in her bag than pencils. She is surprisingly smart, not that anyone will notice her. She tries to lay low at her new school, Rosevelts High. As the two are forced to cross paths, a lot of interesting things develop. Individually but definitely together.

"She's mad, Taylor! Obviously you shouldn't keep feeding into her insanity!" "Yeah, I know. But it takes one to know one." -- Vienna Blanton doesn't hate Taylor Swift. She just has a grudge and a strong disliking of the singer. Although when she drunkenly tells a livestream this, the internet doesn't understand. Suddenly she's the new hot gossip, with her face painted onto the cover of every magazine. No matter how many times she refreshes her Instagram feed, she can't escape the drama. It wasn't meant to spiral out of control, and Vienna definitely didn't want to have Taylor Swift as a public enemy. Unfortunately for her, not everything goes according to plan. To release her stress, she finds comfort in an unknown number online that she accidentally dialed. Olivia, she goes by. A one time message turns into daily conversation, and soon they become friends. Or more. Vivi and Olivia. Both of them are lying to each other, trying to hide their real identity. What would happen when they find out they actually already know each other? -- This story contains serious topics that may be triggering to some readers. Please read at your own discretion, and put yourself and your mental health first. Also, this story is mature, and contains some scenes that aren't appropriate for younger readers. -- I do not own Taylor or any of her work. "You're staring at her," my friend sighs. "I'm not," I reply. "Simply just gazed over in a direction and she was there." "Then why was that look on your face?" "What?" I ask. "What look?" "You look a certain way when you see her," she informs. "You look at her and it's like you are staring at some sort of galaxy." "And?" "You love galaxies." ---- In which Taylor Swift, months before the biggest tour of her career, disappears not for rest, but for something more intimate: silence, slowness, and a borrowed kind of anonymity. She takes a position at a small university under conditions wrapped in non-disclosure and sealed lips, trading stadiums for seminar rooms and lecture halls, and the spotlight for the sound of her own thoughts, uninterrupted. She comes to teach, to disappear without vanishing. To slip between the chapters of someone else's life without rewriting her own. Vivienne Langford is already a name on campus-well-liked, well-feared, and rarely understood. She moves like someone who knows every eye is already on her, speaks with a kind of careless precision that leaves people listening long after she's gone. Confident. Mouthy. Brilliant without ever begging to be noticed. There are rumors, of course. Girls like her always collect them. Taylor tells herself it's nothing. That she's in control. That this semester is about literature, not longing. But pages turn. Eyes linger. And Vivienne begins to feel less like a student and more like the story Taylor can't stop reading. Boundaries blur, silence speaks louder than names, and the line between desire and danger becomes paper-thin.
