The cold air bit your fur, the harsh winter, and the constant dogfighting and abuse took a toll on your weak body, making it smaller than most wolves your age. One day you heard gunshots, and you lift your head slightly off the ground, the leather collar on your neck and the chain secured next to your so-called dog house making it almost impossible to move your neck. Once the shots are seized you lay your head down on the dusty cabin ground. You almost drifted off until you heard the door to the cabin you were staying in bust open. You see a man and you wimper when he comes closer thinking that his going to hit you he instead took off your collar and picks you off the ground, having no energy to fit you let him. The next thing you know you are a part of a family, in a big gang of outlaws. Cover not mine!!!

Isabella Monroe is a college student who is struggling to make ends meet. She works constantly and college is giving her a real kick in the pants.. Her roommate Lindsay is the complete opposite. While they both are attending college, Lindsay's parents send her money every week unlike her counterpart. She doesn't quite understand Isabella's struggle. One night, a very hard day in particular for Isabella, Lindsay tells her to relax and play her new game which so happened to be Red Dead Redemption 2. Isabella refuses because she's not a gamer and she's absolutely exhausted which Lindsay never understands..but she instead agrees to watch her and chills with a beer in hand.. but hours go by and Lindsay somehow convinces her to play. She instantly gets hooked to the story and the character Arthur Morgan. It's like a book but the details and the visuals quench her every need in ways that a book couldn't. That night she decides to look for clues and secrets online..but her phone acts weird. She accidentally opened a "dark browser" that hacks her PS4 and phone. She waves it off as if it is nothing and goes to bed...but when she wakes up, her whole life has changed.. to her disbelief she wakes up in the cool hills of the Cumberland Forest. A mysterious voice from above offers her a deal, if she saves Arthur, she can come home. The kicker is.. she only has five chances to save him or...game over.

Tine Nilsen was an OC cooked up for an otherworldly short story in my RDR2 collection, BELLICOSE (that story is called "Left Behind"). I liked her and her dynamic with Arthur and John so much, I thought I'd give this a spin! It will follow events of the game for the most part, but with the omission of a certain character, expect things to change, some. This story was completed on February 23, 2023. COMPLETE When Arthur met Rosemary at the young age of 25, he was pretty much a goner. It seemed Arthur had a thing for kindly little women. Maybe because deep down all he really wanted was an honest life on a ranch, with a lady he could worship and provide for like a real man should. And in his short time with Rosemary he allowed himself to play make believe that that could ever happen. But like most good things in Arthur's life - that came to a crashing end when Dutch uplifted the gang from that town to move on again. But people from the past always have a way of showing up when you least expect it.
