This caused Bolt's early life to be oppressed and depressed, until he decided enough was enough. He would run away, and never come back again...

Three years after the defeat of The Dark Master, Spyro and Cynder are reunited; but life hasn't gotten any more peaceful. A crystal of dark power is taken from Warfang, and Spyro and Cynder are the best two dragons to find out the truth. But are they simply being played? Every move they make now seems to have been expected by an ingenious enemy, and the more they learn the more it seems as if they've been playing this game all their lives. Just how far do these plans go? What is their aim? Neither hero likes the idea of following the path that they've been put on, but to escape it they're going to need to fight harder then they ever have before.

After Spyro and Cynder save the world, they find a dragon trapped in a statue. After freeing him, he leads them to a whole new existence. But war looms overhead.
