Acting as Robin's secret backup, Atlas helps Jason navigate his dangerous new role. When tragedy strikes and Jason dies, Atlas is left to mourn, but the story doesn't end there. Jason is resurrected as the Red Hood, and Atlas, now known as Starling, stands by his side.
