After the death of his parents, Dick Grayson is taken in by his Uncle and trained to be a Talon. He has been training and preparing for four years of his life, and he only needs to do one thing until he can officially become a Talon. He needs to kill someone.... But he can't. So, he runs away and seeks refugee in Gotham. While there he meets some interesting people. A man, who dresses as a bat and fights crime, and a team of teenagers who also fight crime on their spare time. What will happen when he meets the team and Batman? And what will happen when they meet him?

Every villain needs money, right? But in that kind of buissnes, it's hard to get it the legal way, so why not kidnap a rich child for ransom- or even better, four rich children? That's exactly what the Joker was planning to do, maybe he would even get to kill the Bat and his little bird if they'd come to the boys' rescue. But what happens when the Young Justice is assigned to protect Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake and Damian Wayne, four of the richest children of Gotham? Dick Grayson, Ward of batman, is what the young justice describe: strong and cunning. He may crack jokes and have a bad child hood, but he has always been strong. When a mission goes wrong, the team gets beat and Robin gets kidnapped by Deathstroke. When the team awakens by the justice league, no one knows what happens or who took their little bird. They searched for him for three years before they gave up on their search, accepting his death. In those three years, Death stroke had broken Robin. When Robin failed a mission... well let's just say he has a temper when it comes to failure. Robin finally escapes the torture of the experiments and uses his new found power to guide his way through to the mountain. Because of the constant serum input, he is blind. Finally reunited with his old team, the team finds how secretive and broken Robin looks now and what will happen if his old master wants him back? How far will Deathstroke go to get him back? Also can the team bring Dick back from his lowest point in life? Will they be able to fix him after the mental and emotional abuse from Deathstroke, or will he be broken and lost forever?

When Dick Grayson was 13, he joined the Young Justice Team. After they betrayed him, he turned his back on the heroes. Three years later, he was recruited by the League of Assassins to protect the young heir to Ra's Al Ghul and Batman, Damian Wayne. What happens when Dick becomes the greatest assassin in the league? Or when Slade destroys Ra's, and Dick has to care for his young brother by himself?

The twins are a team, and always will be, with Jason being able to count on one hand the number of words Dick has spoken in his entire life, (him being selectively mute, and all) Dick needs Jason, and Jason needs Dick to keep him out of too much trouble and on the semi-right path.
