hello this is basically a shitty hollow knight self-insert ish vessel reincarnation (I know these got old quick) but with satire and homosexuals there will be TW's before each chapter and a non-triggering summary so you can still read (keep in mind I am a mere bored student and the summaries may not be completed with the rest of the chapter message me if I make a new update and forget the summary because I probably forgot lmao-)

Void Hero: Redux is the revival of my original Void Hero fic-same core idea, completely rebuilt. The old version had heart, but this one has structure, intention, and the tone it always should've had. Izuku is still small, still stubborn, still burdened under his odd void quirk... but this time, the story actually gives much more darkly toned pieces the weight they deserve. This Redux leans fully into the darker elements that were only half-explored before. Themes of trauma, isolation, panic, and body-horror are central, not decorative. Izuku's fear of crowds, his growing agoraphobia, the strange chill in his skin, the way his body mutates under stress-all of it is treated honestly instead of glossed over. If you're comfortable with heavier subjects-unsettling transformations, psychological strain, and a kid trying to build a life while wrestling with something ancient and hungry in his blood-welcome back to Void Hero.
