LEON STEELES is given the conflicting news that their cheating father has died. While they don't want this news to affect them, it does to the point where they blow their rent money on drugs and have to work overtime just to make that money back. Due to this low point, they struggle keeping both their place and life in an orderly fashion... until a new unsuspecting roommate needs a place to lay low. Emile, Prince of the kingdom of Vegreris, is set to marry his betrothed; a princess from the other side of the Emercroft Kingdom. However, Emile second guesses himself after his father is poisoned, so he flees to Vegreris's smallest hamlet, Kugnoz, and meets Andrew, a peasant that catches his eye, but there's something about Andrew that appeals to Emile. When the kingdom of Vegreris goes on lockdown, Emile and his best friend make a discovery about the kingdom's history, and Emile vows to change family history forever.
