After returning home from their perilous quest to retrieve the drop from the Chalice of Deception in Manifold Land-through the help of Reima-Thorne, Ruen, Leo, and Fau vanish from the public eye, choosing to lay low in the shadows. But their quiet respite shatters when an unexpected invitation arrives for the Crimson Masquerade, drawing them back into a web of intrigue and setting their journey into motion once more. Pick me up/ Spoiler for The Herbalist's Beast: First Brew - Sprout: Thorne shelters two beasts-Ruen and Leonard-and rescues Fau, a dangerous chimera. The peace shatters with the arrival of Faulaision, who uses dream magic to lull an entire village to sleep in an attempt to reclaim Fau. Thorne resists and ultimately kills him in the village. With Prince Reima's aid, Thorne secures Chalice drops from the royal family, a safeguard against the Circle's threat. Though Faulaision's body may have yet to be retrieved by the Circle, there has been no direct retaliation-only rumors of an exchange between the Divination and Conqueror.
