"Aditya, I-" "Yes or No." His voice cut through the air, sharp and commanding. Shivalika didn't say anything. She knew if she replied with only Yes or No then it will bring up more Misunderstandings. But Her silence was enough for him. "The lies, the betrayal... You really thought I wouldn't find out?" Her eyes drifted to the papers in his hand-papers that would change everything. Her face paled. She had never imagined the truth would come out like this. "D-DNA report..." Her voice trembled. Her family was now frozen in shock. The betrayal was too much. His heart, once shattered, He had trusted her, believed her- But she had betrayed him. Not once, but twice. After all these years, she had hidden the truth about his daughter. "You hid it from me." His voice was thick "For eight years." His words were harsh. "I have a 7 year-old daughter, and I never knew she existed. I thought my child was dead! And you... you didn't think I had the right to know?" His voice broke into a whisper, one laced with pain. "I should've known. I shouldn't have trusted you after what you did to me eight years ago." Disgust curling his lips. For the first time, Shivalika saw hatred for her in his eyes, and it pierced her soul. But she knew she deserved it- every bit of his hate. She had broken him all over again. "You're a lawyer, right? You fight for human rights, but You took away my rights as a father." "Ms. Chauhan...You will regret hiding this from me. You've seen my love, and now... now you will see my Hate." "I didn't hate you when you left me. But today, today you've given me a reason to." His face twisted in a storm of fury, betrayal. "I'll make your life a living hell. This was all because of our family rivalry right? Now, I'll show You what a Real Rivalry looks like." Each word filled with venom, rage, and the promise of Vengeance. The man who had once been the hero of someone's story had now become the villain of his own. His Love turned into Vengeance.

Her eyes fluttered open in confusion. I cupped her face gently, brushing my thumb across her cheekbone. "l'll hate myself tomorrow if I take advantage of this moment." "I'd never hate you," she whispered, eyes heavy-lidded. "You're the only place I feel safe." And it hit me harder than the kiss. ─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── 𝑺𝒉𝒆'𝒔 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆... I broke the kiss, breathing heavy, my forehead resting against hers. "You belong to me," I whispered, voice raw. "I'm your husband, Ruhi. Not him. Me." She swallowed hard, her lips still trembling. "I know," she whispered. "I didn't mean to-" "No. Listen to me." He cupped her face, firm but not rough. "You're mine to hold. Mine to protect. Mine to kiss. Mine to fight with. Mine to lose sleep over. Not some asshole who thinks a toy will get him what he wants."

In two strides he reached her, grabbed her arm, and turned her around sharply, pulling her into his arms. His arms locked around her trembling body as if he'd never let her go. "Jaan ho tum meri," He whispered harshly against her hair, hugging her tighter as she wept into his chest. *************** Three fucking years since she left. And yet, it feels like yesterday. I didn't stop her. I watched her pack. Silent. Cold. Pretending like I didn't care. Like her walking out of the door wasn't tearing something apart inside me. Maybe I thought if I didn't beg, if I didn't plead, I'd come off stronger. But all I did was let the only woman I ever loved slip through my fingers. And every goddamn day since, I've been living with that choice.

He asked, his piercing gaze meeting hers through the mirror. His one hand was resting on her stomach, keeping her close to him while the other one touched her head. "This-" He moved the finger from her head to her heart. "-this-" He pulled her closer from his other hand. "-your whole fūcking being, belongs with me, get that?" He asked, raising her chin to make her look in the mirror. She should push him away, she should be telling him how much she hates him but she found herself nodding. "Words." He pressed. "Yes," She mumbled. "What's your name?" "Roop." "What's your name?" He asked again, pronouncing each word clearly this time. "Roop Mehrotra." "Roop. Amrit. Mehrotra." His jaw tightened, "Say it." "Roop Amrit Mehrotra." She breathed out, trying to get away from him but his grip was firm. "Right, and it's going to stay just like that." ••• Two people, one unwanted marriage. The question is, will they survive or give up without even trying? •••
