Two years have passed since the fall of the Shadow Project. After escaping the labs that once imprisoned them, the surviving Shadow Subjects found refuge on a remote island-one humanity dares not touch. Under the name Twelve, they began to rebuild from the ashes, forming a fragile new society and reclaiming the title they were once stripped of: Entities. But peace, as Reine soon learns, is never simple. As the group struggles to establish order amidst chaos, whispers of the past begin to resurface. Old enemies stir in the shadows, and the island itself hides secrets far older-and darker-than any of them could imagine. Reine faces not only the threat beyond the treeline, but the ones within her own fractured mind. Guilt, memory, and betrayal intertwine as she begins to question what freedom truly means... and whether the cycle she thought she broke has truly ended. Because some ghosts don't stay buried. And paradise was never meant for them.

"Twelve" centers on humanoids with mythological shadows-mysterious, mythical creatures from various mythologies that are spiritually or genetically linked to each character. These connections manifest in physical traits, such as unusual limbs, ears, or other features that reflect their shadow creature. The story follows a girl named Reine, who escapes from a laboratory after a catastrophic explosion. Fueled by her past, she makes it her mission to destroy every lab like the one that held her captive, help others in need, and offer refuge to those brave enough to stand up and fight for change in a society that often rejects lab escapees. ! Content Warning! - Twelve This story contains: Strong language Graphic and descriptive violence Explicit depictions of death Dark and potentially disturbing humor If any of these themes are distressing or triggering for you, it's advised that you proceed with caution-or consider not reading further. Your well-being comes first.

When a new agent and an old companion of Sam's shows up at CLADE, Kit cannot help but feel apprehensive. When Kit begins to slowly unravel secrets old and new from not only them but from her closest friend, will she be able to find out if her suspicions of their latest addition are true, or will she lose the friendships she has along the way? A one-shot-turned-series from my favorite fandom (and characters) in all of media. Also available on AO3.
