Before the merge y/n was an Imperium citizen with her best friend Sora, yeah sure Sora is 16 right now and y/n is 19 but who cares. On y/n's 15th birthday it happened. Timeline not same as the show. It's totally different. --- No one knows what had happened to Kai right after the merge. They mostly just brushed it off as mystery.
