This story is based on, if the LAPD went on a road trip vacation after the Chenford breakup and they were figuring out their relationship. Everyone in this story is who is currently in season 6/7 of The Rookie. Aaron Thorsen isn't as he transferred stations, and Tamara Collins isn't coming because she's in College and isn't apart of the LAPD job. Although they do appear from texts or calls. What will Lucy do? Emmett has her trapped, her daughter needs her. But her heart is with a certain TO with blue eyes. When will she have enough? What happens when Tim finds out the secrets his Boot has been hiding? I do not Own the Rookie or any of there characters.

This story is based on the events of 5x20, where Isobel momentarily returns to carry out a UC task with Lucy's help. I have changed up the events a bit, and played on Lucy's jealousy towards Isobel, and her interactions with Tim. Lucy is not willing to be second best, and makes that abundantly clear. How will Tim deal with this? Includes some Nyla x Lucy bestie moments, as I feel we didn't get nearly enough of that in Season 5 or 6.
