But THEN her worst enemy (okay fine... former enemy... current boyfriend??) came back from the dead. Literally. Like, glowy-eyed, "hey I might still be a demon lol", back from the dead. Now they're navigating romance, trauma, faith, chaotic friends, demon conspiracies (that turn out to be... a government food thing??), and Bible study in matching pajamas. It had been a couple of months since the Namsan Tower incident and the downfall of Gwi-ma, and Huntrix was rising back to the top of the music industry once more. The girls had been going on tour, releasing new singles, and embracing Rumi's half-demon side. But Rumi hasn't told the girls something about what happened that night. Jinu's words kept repeating in her head, over and over. She remembered those nights when he would send his tiger to let her know when to meet up. There was that time when a lady thought they were a couple and ended up telling Rumi to leave her supposed boyfriend. She missed him. Fortunately for her, he hadn't completely disappeared. His soul remained in the human world, where it resided with Rumi. People believed that someone could be reincarnated if their soul was still alive, but it depended on how much someone wanted them to return. After the Defeat of Gwi-Ma, Rumi has been suffering emotional and physical pain. She feels guilty for not being able to save Jinu. She has episodes of immense pain; it feels as if something is being ripped from her chest. Tension is visible between the Huntr/x girls as they feel that Rumi still isn't telling them everything.
