Not in the shitty part of Denver but the nice part of Denver. Finney Blake. A typical seventeen year old boy... Besides the fact that he attempted to burn down the school twice, smokes a lot, and loves to annoy the crap out of his teachers and dad. Finney didn't grow up exactly with sunshine and rainbows considering he lost his mom to suicide at only six years old. Set in New Orleans lived two boys. One having a secret, the other being a new kid, or better fresh meat... Finney Blake, the locked up, trouble maker. Finney had been living in New Orleans the day he had been born, never left, never did anything outside of the city. He was known for being not only popular but apparently good in bed... With both males and females...Finney was known for being the hot kid too, except, he had never had a real relationship, ever. Every girl and guy was convinced at one point maybe they had been the one. But they were wrong, Finney was distant, and he found it hard to show his emotions. The only close friends he had were Vance Hopper the tough kid, Billy Showalter the party kid, and Bruce Yamada Robin Arellano the New hot kid, Robin had moved from Denver and was completely new to everything. His mom and dad had been freshly divorced, and when asked the question about his sexuality he would answer with, "I'm still figuring it out." Even though he knew that he was gay. He was just scared. And he was even more scared when he met Finney Blake... A possible lover, or enemy. Finney made Robin get butterflies, but still the constant feeling of wanting to punch Finney in the face at the same time. He never felt this feeling and surely after finding out Finney's reputation he didn't want want to feel the way he did.

Two boys both land in detention for doing shitty things. One known as the popular jock who plays football and bullies kids. That kid is known as Robin Arellano the hot jock every girl wants to date. The next boy was quiet, and a drug addict. That kid was known as Finney Blake the boy who was known for being gay, but yet still boys had a slight interest in him. And not in a friend sort of way. Finney Blake, a gay boy who paints his nails and does drugs, and suffers from Bipolar. Not only did Finney get caught for doing drugs in school he got framed. This gave him a golden ticket to detention, or better known as hell. Finney's life only got ten times worse as he saw the boy he hated... Robin Arellano. Ever since middle school Robin had been a dick to Finney. He didn't exactly hurt him with punches but he hurt him with words. And some of these comments stung more than others. Robin Arellano a Bisexual boy who plays football and is rich. Robin practically has everything you ever wanted. Or at least that's what everyone thinks. Robin may be a popular person when not showing but when he does he has a shitty life. Robin not only got in a bad fight but ended up framing someone which only led him straight to hell, or better known as detention. Life only got harder as Robin was met by the familiar eyes of Finney Blake. The kid he not only bullied but the kid he framed. Robin only bullied him because he had these weird feelings that he never really felt before so he just suggested they were hate feelings. Little did they know that this detention would be life changing.

Finney Blake, the single, bisexual, nice, 17- year old, looking for a summer job. Robin Arellano, the single, gay, attractive, 17-year old, also looking for a summer job Little did both these boys know that this summer would be full of events they would never forget. Finney Blake had always hated school, he had always run from Bullies. and just dreaded school. But the thing he dreaded most had been the one and only Robin Arellano. For Finney's whole life Robin had always been a pain. But yet Finney had still yet tolerated him for every minute they spent together. Robin Arellano had always had an idea of who he liked and didn't like. And one of the people he wasn't sure of was the one and only Finney Blake. He always bullied him, because of his friends. He not only felt sorry for him but dreaded to bully him. He didn't know what else to do, so he just followed in his friends footsteps

Finney Blake has just turned 17, and is safely living with his aunt. But for the last couple of months Finney has been exhausted. Because Finney has been trying to figure out his sexuality. Along with Robin Arellano, who has been giving Finney several mixed feelings and signals. Robin would tease Finney by calling him names and sometimes making remarkable comments in school about Robin and Finney dating. Finney found it annoying. But yet Robin would save Finney from fighting and protect him. Once Finney even heard Robin calling some bullies off about giving me a bloody nose. Finney didn't really know what Robin was to him... Was he a friend, enemy, or something more?
