~This story is a continuation of characters from the Layton McKinley series. Aiden navigates a new relationship, while his blood tie to Layla causes him heartache and extra challenges...on top of dealing with how to fall in love while protecting so many secrets. The Hayles dive into their newly formed business. Aiden and Archie get a crash course in the construction trade. As time passes, they begin to ease back into a more normal way of life, and begin to socialize again. Aiden makes major personal gains. He meets a gorgeous young woman, who asks him out. He begins dating, again. Between his constant fear of messing it all up with his secrecy, and her family issues...they're in for a bumpy ride. Aiden deals with how to be himself, and have a genuinely authentic relationship with someone, when he has to lie frequently about who and what the Hayles are. On top of that, Layla males a surprise return, throwing a major wrench into Aiden's young relationship. Aiden and Ryder have become friends, yet both of them desperately need the blood tie between Layla and Aiden to be broken. The threat of Aiden and Layla potentially rekindling their love causes Ryder to be insecure and jealous at times, leading to a whole host of juicy drama and adventure. With these stories, I'm exploring the incredible perks, and unthinkable challenges of the vampire condition. Along the way, the group will face significant challenges, in order to protect Layla, who is a combination of supernatural beings. Her special gifts descend from Greek God's, and also combine with vampirism. His love for Layla continues, as he battles himself to let her go, and secure true love of his own. This fictional story takes place in the Republic of Ireland. The Hayles are comprised of a blended family, of full-blood and half-blood vampires. I hope you will follow along to hear Aiden's story. I look forward to real dialog and positive comments.

~Book 4 Layla's journey continues on! Genevieve had been taken down, in a firey display of Layla's power at the High Cross of Kilbride, Ireland. Just when it feels like things can resume to normal, and Layla can return to London with Ryder, another situation comes to fruition. Archie and her brother Aiden are handling the loss of their father, in two completely different ways. Aiden prefers to stay busy, while Archie adamantly believes that his death was Layla's fault. As a result of Archie's pain and sadness, Layla makes a rash decision to leave on her own. More than anything, she doesn't want to be a burden on anyone. In typical Layla fashion, she sacrifices her own needs and wants to help the ones she loves. The impulsive decision causes her to reunite with Officer Chad Cooper. Layla quickly regrets her choice to leave Ryder. In this book, a whole new set of dilemmas arise, as Layla fights to find her way home. Ryder and Aiden frantically try to find her, with the help of the whole coven. This is a work of fiction. The concept for the book was inspired by the idea of half-blood vampires, as well as Greek mythology. All positive feedback and conversations would be great! I hope you enjoy the adventure as much as I'm enjoying the creative process of writing it. *All images featured in the book were created using Canva.

~Book 3~ This book follows "Revenant" and "Wanderer" ~Sneak Peek Quote: "She was the lighthouse. She was resolute. As Longfellow wrote, she was 'a pillar of fire by night, of cloud by day.' It was a lonely duty, always enduring the isolation for the sake of others. She would endure the storm that was Genevieve, and remain standing, inextinguishable." ~Old world vampires, Domnall and Fionn recently tried to collect Layla. To their surprise, Layla killed Fionn's mate and avenged Aiden's attack. During the battle, Aiden was bit, and consequently turned into a vampire. Henry Hayle attempts to protect Layla and his new found "family " from future attacks, from Domnall and Fionn, or anyone else. He takes them all to the Yukon, Canada, where he hopes the seclusion will help him to teach Aiden the Hayle ways, while keeping Layla and the others safe. Layla continues to be a magnet for trouble. She loves and cares with all she has, and bad things gravitate towards her. She continues to grow as a supernatural being and navigate her love and relationship with Ryder. This is a work of fiction, based on the idea of vampires who had children with humans, creating hybrid beings. I welcome real and constructive feedback. I hope you enjoy this adventure. It was a lot of fun to take the Hayle's blended family across the globe . *All images featured in the book were created using Canva.

~Book 2 ~This book follows, "Revenant~The Layton McKinley Story" Layla has been discovered alive, and Ryder was arrested as her abductor. Layla is delivered to Tye's doorstep. Being unwelcome in her former home, due to Tye's new relationship causes her to be out on the street with nowhere to go. It doesn't take long for trouble to find her again. She faces issues with Luke's brother Levi. He had gone from being a friend, to wanting to kill her. Her connection to Luke's other brother, Ryder, was also confusing her. Layla decides it's best to leave the Hayles behind and venture out on her own. She discovers new love, but soon finds out that her connection to the Hayles and Tye Martino are far from over. Trouble continues to follow her, wherever she goes. Meanwhile, she's still trying to learn who and what exactly she has become, and how to live as normal of a life as possible. This is book two of my series. It is a work of fiction. The idea was inspired by the concept of a vampire having children with a human, creating a coven of half- bloods. I welcome real, constructive feedback. I hope you enjoy this adventure as much as I enjoyed writing it. *All images featured in the book were created using Canva.

Book 1: Layton McKinley struggles with letting herself be with the one she loves, who is also her childhood best friend, Tye. She fears losing him if things don't go well as a couple. She has a tough family history that she struggles with. This plays a major role in where she gives her love and trust, and how she makes decisions. After several difficult events with her family and Tye, Layla ends up meeting a handsome young man, named Luke, who sweeps her off her feet. She soon finds out that he has not been honest with her about who he is. Luke is hiding a major family secret, one that inadvertently sends Layla on a whole new path. She had no idea that Vampires existed, or that this family of supernatural beings would lead her in a direction she never would've expected. Luke Hayle and his family, have a unique way of living life. They often are mischievous, and not exactly honest. Even with the best of intentions for Layla, things always seem to be a disaster. Along the way, she discovers the peak of her strengths and the depths of her hardships. Come on this adventure with me. I am not a trained writer, but I thoroughly enjoyed this creative process. I welcome real, constructive feedback and discussions. *warning: there are some scenes containing violence towards the lead, female character. This is a purely fictional piece, that was inspired by the idea of a vampire having children with a human, creating a coven of half-bloods. I also explored using different vantage points. Some of the chapters may seem repetitive at first, until you realize it's the same scene from a different character's view point. This is a story of love and loss, and the supernatural. *All images featured in the book were created using Canva.
