To land her dream internship, aspiring sports journalist Selena agrees to work with cocky Oracle University star quarterback Jace to document his highly-anticipated return to football only to discover fighting the sparks between them may be her most difficult challenge yet. Season 1 of Winning Hearts *** Selena Roy knows her dream of becoming a journalist with the world's premiere sports network lies in their coveted internship. Her key to a standout submission? Jace Maxwell, superstar quarterback of the Oracle U Archers. Haunted by an injury that cost them a championship, Jace's dream of playing in the NFL hangs in the balance. Not only does his shoulder need rehab, but so does his image, so the two strike a mutually beneficial deal. Where Selena is persistent, Jace looks to push buttons-and he finds Selena's button especially intriguing. Through the highs and lows of the season, beneath glittering lights and long nights of practice, their undeniable chemistry leads to a red-hot attraction neither of them can resist. But as the pressure mounts and business and pleasure collide, the question arises: can they achieve their goals and be with each other? Or will ambition be their downfall, both on and off the field? *** The space between us dwindled. Despite the shockwaves that coursed through me, I refused to let Jace see the way it affected me. "Threatening me, Maxwell?" His face moved closer. "Only if you want me to, Selena."

[COMPLETED] "That wasn't very nice, was it princess?" He asked in a husky voice and I stuttered, trying to form words but failing. His lips leaned in and started to trail softly down my neck. I tried to hold in my moan as the light feeling of his lips in my skin continued until he pulled back abruptly. "Sorry princess. Not today." He finished before walking out of the room, leaving me in a daze. Madison Thompson isn't your typical 18-year-old. She attends Sea City High School in Florida and her temper and attitude always gets the better of her. But her strange encounter with school badboy and star quarterback, Noah Johnson, who has a bad past, puts her on edge as well as her little secret is slowly rising from the ashes. Seems like the typical storyline...right? She's falling, in more ways that one, and doesn't realise it, but will Noah help her see there's more to her life than what she makes it out to be? WARNING! - Contains strong language, triggering topics (i.e abuse, violence etc.)

Katelyn has been in and out of the foster system since her mother died when she was young. After her father gets put in jail again, she gets sent to live with the Thomas family. The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.
