When Gideon resigned from the BAU, he left the Doctor Spencer Reid a letter, explaining himself and why he left. Gideon asked Reid to meet with her at the local park that weekend to meet with her. Jason left Sierra a note explaining another case to her, just like all the ones before; but this one broke him.
