Bas only wanted a quiet weekend.
A house surrounded by trees, a few friends, good food, small trips, and two days in which no one expected anything from him. Maxky coming along was not a problem. They knew each other. They liked each other. It was easy.
At least, it was supposed to be.
But somewhere between walks to the lake, a shared room, lingering glances and touches that could almost be accidental, something begins to shift. Bas realises that Maxky's closeness soothes him - and unsettles him in equal measure. Maxky, in turn, notices more than Bas means to show, yet remains careful enough not to push.
While their friends have already seen what is growing between them, Bas and Maxky are still trying to convince themselves that none of this was planned.
Maybe it wasn't.
But some things do not need to be planned to become real.
A romantic Thai BL short novel about slow-burn intimacy, friendship, uncertainty, and the moment when accidental closeness becomes a choice.
