Adventure Bay was always a town of laughter, loyalty, and light... until the darkness came. When a mysterious string of disappearances and violent storms strike the shoreline, Ryder and the pups discover that Adventure Bay's safety is under siege by something far more sinister than a simple emergency. The waters turn red with warnings, whispers of a forgotten curse echo through the town, and trust within the team begins to fracture. As the rescues grow deadlier and the nights grow longer, the Paw Patrol must confront their deepest fears, fight through betrayal, and face an enemy that knows their every weakness. Each mission pushes them to the edge-physically, emotionally, and as a family. In a battle where loyalty may cost lives and sacrifice is the only way forward, Ryder and the pups must answer the hardest question of all: how much blood will Adventure Bay have to pay to be saved?

Chase is known as the strongest, bravest, and most reliable pup on the team. He's the first to leap into danger, the one Ryder always counts on, and the pup who never lets his guard down. But when a high-stakes mission to rescue a family trapped in a landslide goes horribly wrong, Chase is buried beneath the rubble-alone, injured, and surrounded by darkness. Though he's rescued in time, something inside him has changed. Back at the Lookout, everyone cheers for his bravery. They treat him like a hero. But Chase doesn't feel like one. He can't sleep. Loud noises make him flinch. And during the next mission, he freezes-paralyzed by fear he can't explain. He hides it, pushing harder, barking louder, pretending he's fine. But Skye sees through the cracks. As the pressure mounts and the missions continue, Chase is forced to confront the truth: he's struggling with trauma, fear, and shame. He's terrified of letting the team down-but more terrified of being seen as weak. Ryder notices the change too and makes a quiet decision: to show Chase that even leaders can be vulnerable. With support from Ryder, Skye, and the rest of the team, Chase learns that bravery isn't about always being strong-it's about being honest, even when it hurts. Because sometimes the hardest rescue... is rescuing yourself.
