There are certain days that you know you will remember for the rest of your life-- the days where you made a decision that changed the trajectory of your life forever-- however Nico never thought that May 14, 2016 would be one of those days. Everything was going fine in the rebellion until the prince showed up. Or, according to the leader at least. Prince William claimed to "know intel about the enemies" and "be able to fight" and "not have a crush on the injured soldier boy he found on the journey." Yeah, right, Will. You keep telling yourself that. Meanwhile, Nico--Soldier 1017--is only trying to survive the night. With nothing and no one to save him from his upcoming execution for failing to follow orders, Nico's future looks pretty bleak. A raid and a rebellion bring them together. Nico di Angelo is a forensic pathologist, well, training to be one. He spends his days examining dead bodies and learning how they died. Pretty cool, right? Will Solace is training to be a nurse. His goal is to prevent as many bodies from needing to be examined as possible. He wanted to save people. When these two move in together, many adventures follow, because honestly, what else can you expect when two complete opposites try to coexist? As time goes on they learn that maybe they aren't so different after all. Characters belong to Rick Riordan, but the plot and all that belong to me.
