𝐈𝐍 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐂𝐇 seventeen year old malani russell a junior in high school from washington, dc who moved to houston, texas to live with her aunt-who passed during her freshman year. to which she essentially ended up in a group home. ends up in a church-house volunteering for her neighborhoods turkey drive. as the sun began to set, and people began to flock away one by one, she went inside, kneeled at the altar and began crying for help, begging to get out of the situation she's in. though she is not religious, she does believe in the most high. malani, didn't expect her pleas to be heard. because, she didn't think someone like her could be heard. no parents, no one to call family-besides that one girl in her group home. she yearned to be somewhere where she could feel the love she felt from her beloved aunt. and, unbeknownst to her, she would soon feel that exact love! though she may not accept it right away but, in due time... she will.
