When Amy turns 21, she moves back to her hometown missing her much slower pace of life but finds that everyone has changed. Someone in particular has caught her eye, no blue in sight....

This story takes place 10 years after the events we all know from the Sonic series. All of Sonic's friends, including Sonic himself, know pain. Sonic knows the pain of failing to save someone. Tails knows what it is like to not meet his own expectations. But no-one knows pain like Shadow does. For years he has held his heartbreak and fear inside himself, but, when he finally starts to break, he needs someone there for him. And guess who steps up to the task?
