Betrayal doesn't come from enemies. And that is perhaps the saddest part of it all.

Some connections don't begin with love. They begin with disturbance. Ulfat lives a life wrapped in protection-every step watched, every choice weighed. Safety has always come at the cost of freedom. She knows the rules. She breaks them anyway. Rehman is a man of control, not confession. Power follows him in silence, and violence waits behind his restraint. He was never meant to notice her-yet once he does, the world rearranges itself around that mistake. What grows between them is not gentle. It is instinct before intention. Protection before desire. A pull that feels spiritual, unsettling, inevitable. As danger tightens and boundaries blur, Ulfat must face a terrifying truth: the safest place may be the one that costs her the most-and the man who never asked to hold her might be the only one who can. This is not romance written in promises. It is written in restraint. In unspoken loyalty. In a connection that touches the soul before it ever touches the skin. Roohaniyat-where love is felt before it is named.

In the brutal heart of Lyari, where dust settles like a second skin and power is carved with steel, the name Rehman Baluch strikes fear and commands an empire. But before he was the feared 'Sher-e-Baluch,' the king of this concrete jungle, he was just Rehman-a boy with a fierce loyalty and a gaze that held the entire world when it fixed on Ulfat. Now, years after he chose the path of blood and power over the quiet promises of childhood, Ulfat navigates a world where the boy she once knew is a myth, replaced by the ruthless don. She despises the violence he embodies, yet a part of her mourns the loss of the friend who vanished into the abyss of Lyari's underworld. When their paths inevitably cross, a silent battle ignites. He, the undisputed monarch, seeks to reclaim the only piece of his past that still holds light. She, defiant and fiercely independent, wants no part of his blood-stained crown. As the shadows deepen and loyalties are tested, will the echoes of a shared history be strong enough to challenge the foundations of an empire built on fear, or will the untamed crown claim another soul?

Suhana, our lively 18-year-old from the 21st century, enjoying her so-called "once-in-a-lifetime" trip with friends. What could go wrong? Well, cue the dramatic drumroll! The river of time takes an unexpected detour, and Suhana finds herself crash-landing into the Dwapar Yug, into the era of the Mahabharat. Now, instead of dealing with typical teen problems, she's dodging the princes of Kuru, who are throwing tantrums deadlier than a family dinner gone wrong and to top it off, they're all convinced that marrying Suhana off is the solution to world peace. In this whirlwind of ancient chaos and madness, Suhana, in a moment of desperation, turns to the only one who seems sane-Her dear lord, Shree Krishna. Turns out he's even more twisted than the whole Kuru dynasty. The playful celestial god communicates only in riddles, turning her quest for salvation into a celestial game of "Guess What I Mean." "Hey bhagwan," Suhana groans. "Haa bolo," Krishna grins, his eyes twinkling in mischief. "He's not my savior. He's the reason for all my misery," Suhana cries, while the divine lord watches amusedly as the cosmic drama unfolds.

At the age of Mahabharata, there was a small but independent state named Manipur whose king Chitravahan wanted a prince for himself. He then worshipped Lord Shiva and got a girl. According to Mahadev's order and his own desire, he rared her as a boy. When she got young, her father wanted her to get married with a Chandra-banshi Prince. She liked Arjun while her father wanted to marry her with Prince Duryodhan. When she got acquinted with Arjun, she fell in love with him instantly. But her father had a secret motive behind approving their union. Would she live happily ever after or got abandoned by her husband? And if so, would she avenge her own insult or took it as her fate? This is the first story of my Mahabharata series that I tried to pen down at my own childhood. I am truly fascinated by her life long struggle for independence and avenging her insult by her own husband. This is my own original story that I never published anywhere else. The motivation for this story were Mahabharat and other manuscripts on Chitrangada. I take most scenes from the popular television serial "Mahabharata Katha"of Mr. B. R. Chopra. However the screenplay is truly mine. My language is mostly Hindi whose English version was written beside it. Pictures were taken from public domains. "Why are you behaving like this with me! I love you!" Draupadi expressed her feeling as tears rolled down her cheek. "So do I! But I feel suffocated as I realise you are never completely mine! I am married to you but then so is Angraj!" Arjun said frustrated. "I am yours. Me and Angraj...we are married for namesake. There is nothing between us. I didnt want to marry him!" Draupadi tried to explain. "I know Panchaali.I dont blame you for this but seeing you with my worst enemy saddens me. You are Parth's Panchaali but you are also Karn's Draupadi! And it frustrates me...If someday Angraj wants his rights over you I wont be able to handle it!" Arjun said in an extremely frustrating manner and left the chamber. "How is it my fault! I have always loved Arjun then why did I have to marry Angraj as well. Arjun is my husband but I am Karn's wife as well. I cant live like this any longer" Draupadi said to herself teary eyed. She looked at the high balcony in her chamber. The beautiful thought of giving up her life was possessing her mental stability. She couldnt handle so many complications. She will end her sufferings right now. She stepped towards the balcony. One more step and she would fall and her death will put an end to her pains and sufferings. As she was going to proceed she felt a sudden pull. Someone pulled her away from the balcony. Draupadi was taken aback. She landed on a strong chest and a pair of arms held her safely. She could feel her husband breathe close to her ear. Arjun was here. She couldnt help but smile. She turned around. The man before her frightened her. It was not Arjun. "What on earth do you think you were doing Panchali!" Karn exclaimed extremely disturbed and concerned. "Angraj...Its you" Draupadi said. She was disappointed. She expected Arjun. "How can you even think of ending your life Panchali!" Karn asked extremely anguished.
