"I'll let you go," he whispered against Joshua's lips, "but only when my soul is ripped from this body. And even then, who knows? Maybe we're bound beyond this life."

Chaos and destruction. Two things Lee Seokmin despised more than anything. He thrived on control, on order, on things falling exactly into place. "Just so you know," Seungcheol grunts, his voice laced with frustration, "I'm only putting up with you because of my mother. Nothing else." He forcefully pushes down on the accelerator, the car lurching forward. Jeonghan, ever the tease, smirks and playfully buckles his seatbelt. "Aw, sucks," he drawls, his tone dripping with faux disappointment. "I thought we would make such a cute couple, Cheollie." The engine roars to life as the car starts moving. --- Seungcheol had finally managed to find someone willing to play the role of his fake husband for the family gathering, a desperate attempt to save himself from the constant nagging of his family members who were determined to see him married. But the truth was, Seungcheol couldn't stand Jeonghan.

"I think Daddy hates me," Jeonghan frowns looking at the ten-year-old child sitting beside him on the swing. The child tightly held a crumpled white paper in his hand, trying to wipe away the tears streaming down his cheeks. "Why?" Jeonghan asked. "He keeps hiding me," the child replied. --- Jeonghan is determined to teach Seungcheol how to be a good parent, even though that's the only thing he lacked in his own childhood.
