This story is kinda like how Tanjirou and Nezuko. This is my first story ever so I'm sorry if there is my mistakes or anything. Sanemi and Giyuu are already dating and Sabito is still alive and is Giyuu's best friend. Sanemi is 17 and his family except Genya is dead. Giyuu is 16 years old, his sister died protecting him. Sabito is 15 and was abandoned by his parents. Sanemi goes out to get some supplies for himself, Giyuu, and Sabito. He wasn't expecting what is going to happen when he comes home. When night reach, a man saw him going back to his home in darkness, he offered him to stay because of demons. Sanemi was unsure what to do but thought they'd be alright for one night and decided to sleep. Next day appears, he was shocked to see something unexpected. Read the story to know more... Giyuu, though he was a demon, just wanted a peaceful life... yet that didn't happen, instead he got admitted to the upper ranks and forced to obey Muzan.. Muzan starts to send things to attack Giyuu, useless things that he wants to get rid of (he's using Giyuu...) Giyuu knows this, but needs to kill what's in his way to survive (indirectly helping Muzan...) Yet in one battle with a Hashira, they bring up his past, and he begins to feel the pain and emotions he hasn't felt in years... It took all the Hashira and many demon corp members, plus trying to mentally attack Giyuu, for the hashira to finally capture him... Knowing that having a demon for information and help, would be useful... Now Giyuu is even further away from his hopes of a peaceful life...... And he has to takle an every day life of not getting hurt or killed by the hashira....

When Sanemi gets back from looking for his mother, all he sees is two monsters fighting each other: His brother must kill his mother. Sanemi knows he would have done the same if he had to, but now he can only hopelessly stare. Thank goodness Genya remembers.

Tomioka doesn't talk to the hashira at all he will talk to the master and that is it. Most of the hashira respect Tomioka's silent wishes to not talk to him and stay away from him. Though Shinobu wishes he interacts more with the others and she picks on him to try to get some sort of emotion. There is also Sanemi who wants Tomioka to show some emotion and act like a "normal" person so he threateneds him.
