"I honestly do not know what type of game you're playing here but do not think, not for a second that I will leave my wife for a slut like you." I don't love you River. In fact, I never will." He said, with venom in each of his words. I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces. I could not believe this is the picture he had of me. "Love simply does not have reason love is an indescribable feeling and I am not asking anything on your behalf, "I replied, matching the same tone as his. Of course, deep down I knew it was all a lie. ********** One disastrous turn of events drives River to do the impossible to save her family and that is put to the test when she is asked to sleep with billionaire Ethan Scott, so she may carry the heir to his company.

Excerpt: Like he was hot or wanted to jump out of his clothes, he takes off his blazer and puts it neatly on the back of his chair. He looses his tie and unbuttons the first few buttons of his shirt. "Clarissa." He breaths out and pinches the bridge of his nose. Oh no... he was calling her by her full name. Why? What did she do? What was so upsetting about wanting him back? "What?" She whispers "Is Regina still in your life?" "Clarissa." He drops himself back into his seat and lets out a breath. He puts his elbows onto the desk and steeples his fingers together. This was how he acted when he was stressed or backed into a corner. "Jacob, I know I wasn't perfect..." "Stop." He shows her his palm. "I don't want to hurt you anymore." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PART 3 IN THE UNWANTED SERIES (The Alden sisters)

Sabrina Reed is Nathan Alden's wife, but not by his choice... EXCERPT****** "I found her like this, sir," the guard announced. Sabrina stirred at the voice, blinking groggily and rubbing her eyes to chase away the blur clouding her vision. A towering figure stepped into focus. "What are you doing out here, Sabrina?" Nathan's voice was sharp, cutting through the fog of sleep. His jaw was tight, words pressed between clenched teeth. She blinked again, brushing hair from her face as she sat up. "What are you doing out here?" he repeated-louder this time, more demanding. He stood before her in a jet-black suit and white button-up shirt, sleeves rolled just enough to expose forearms clenched across his chest. His eyebrows were drawn tight, his eyes narrowed. "I came back late last night and... the guard was gone, so... I just fell asleep," she said softly, eyes lowering under the weight of his glare. He dismissed the guard with a silent nod, then stepped closer. "Where were you last night?" he asked, voice taut with suspicion. She yawned, trying to blink herself fully awake. "I've been volunteering at the animal shelter." "Get up," he ordered, tone clipped and harsh. "You expect me to believe that? Don't animal shelters close at a decent time?" She remained seated, her legs too stiff to move. "Yes, but-" "Get up!" he barked.
