I woke up in the Maze-alone. Yeah, you heard me right. Alone. No fanfare, no dramatic entrance, just me and a giant, twisted maze filled with creatures that probably wanted to eat me for breakfast. Why? Because I betrayed WICKED. Apparently, that's how they handle traitors-toss them into the Maze and hope they don't make it out. Typical. So, there I was, stuck in this nightmare, facing trial after trial with zero backup. But hey, I wasn't exactly known for giving up. If there's one thing I'm good at, it's surviving. Sure, the Grievers were terrifying, the Maze was a puzzle I didn't want to solve, and I had no one to complain to-but I was still breathing. And if WICKED thought they could get rid of me that easily, they were in for a surprise.

They thought they'd escaped. They were wrong. The desert stretches endlessly before them, scorching by day, freezing by night, and full of dangers they can't see coming. Isla is barely holding on, her body fighting against whatever WICKED pumped into her veins. Minho refuses to leave her side, even as the others struggle to keep moving. Food is running low. Water is almost gone. And the mountains that promise salvation still feel impossibly far away. But WICKED isn't done with them yet. Hunted by Cranks, haunted by nightmares, and desperate to survive, the group has no choice but to keep pushing forward-because stopping means death. Or worse. And in the end, escape might not be an option at all.

She ran into the Maze and never came back. Isla was one of the first. A Runner. A shadow between the walls. Then, one night, she vanished without a trace-no scream, no body, just silence. Most believed the Maze had taken her. Most forgot. But then the song began. A low, echoing melody, threading through the corridors in the dead of night. A voice that shouldn't exist. The Gladers whisper that she haunts the Maze, that her ghost is warning them of something lurking in the dark. Only Minho refuses to believe she's dead. Because if Isla is still out there, it means the Maze isn't finished with them yet. And if she's not... then something else is waiting in the dark, calling them deeper inside.

The world is dying. The Flare has spread, turning cities to graveyards and people into mindless monsters. WICKED claims to have the cure-but at what cost? Jess, Thomas, and the remaining Gladers have one final chance to take the fight to the ones who stole their lives. Minho has been captured, and WICKED is more desperate than ever to complete their experiments. But Jess knows the truth: there is no salvation to be found in their lies. With Newt and Frypan by her side, she embarks on a dangerous mission into the heart of WICKED's headquarters, where secrets will be uncovered, alliances will be tested, and the truth about their pasts will finally come to light. But time is running out. As the world collapses and the line between friend and enemy blurs, Jess must make an impossible choice. Will she sacrifice everything to stop WICKED once and for all? Or will she lose herself-and the ones she loves-before the fight is over? The end is here. And not everyone will survive.
