People always said they were like swans, the way they moved as if they were being strung around by puppeteers, the way their hair formed a little heart whenever their heads were in a close enough proximity of the other. Just like swans. But we all know how it goes when a swan loses its lifelong partner.

And even if his heart stopped beating, his body going numb and his hands turning cold, he'd still seek Hongjoong's sad but longing eyes because they kept him alive. "Hongjoong-ah, what we did was wrong. Forbidden. But don't resist us our right to be. ... even if it's selfish."

"You know what they say about soulmates, right kitten?" "About soulmates Channie...?" "Ya...that they're connected since the beginning...and forever after..." 8th book in the Neko series, picks up right after Neko 7.0: Caramel Cuties
