"Tell me Ash, would you like me to teach you about pokemon? About how to take care of them? Cure them when they get hurt? Would you like to learn about becoming a trainer?" Professor Oak asked the speechless boy, making a decision that would change the life of Ash completely. *Hi! There will be a few changes to the story, mostly about the age of the characters. Ash's age and everyone who he had ever traveled with or was part of his friend group will be increased by five years. Lance, Professor Oak, Delia, Drayden, every other character on the anime will keep their age. Also, the age for kids to start their pokemon journey will be fifteen.

Firstly, this is my very first attempt at a Pokemon story, so constructive criticism is welcome. Secondly, this story starts right after the events of the Lumiose Conference and the Battle with Team Flare, but from here on out it is going to be considered AU. It is also, Pallet-Shipping centered (AshxGary), so you are warned. This work of fiction is not going to be the usual Pokemon tale you will read; there will not be much actually battling until far later into the work. This is because it is going to be emotionally hard for those who are sensitive and/or don't do well with situations involving lots of pressure or bad emotions. It was inspired by my recent recovery process from a long and hard personal battle with depression; so it is going to make you cry in sadness and frustration. It is going to make you feel for these characters (more than we already do), and it is going to cause your own emotions to tumble with turmoil over their situations as the characters try to make the best of a lot of hardships to go to recovery. To get to where they can stand up again and be strong for themselves. I know this is not much of a summary; but after what I said in the first part, anything else would give to much away and spoil it.

Ash Ketchum is a 7 year old kid back then, when a wild Usarang attacked him and Gary. He fought the pokemon and unlocked his aura abilities. And with that, Ash turned out to be a true aura guardian along with Gary who could wield physic powers. They two studied under the famous professor Oak with another guardian name Leaf for 4 years and soon became famous to the entire pokemon world. Now that they are ready to start their journeys all at the age of 12, the trio goes seperate ways and all have different adventures. But Ash doesn't know what was in store for in. With the creator of the universe Arceus watching over him as her chosen one, he goes on to a journey with different rare types of pokemon and weird abilities

Serena accidentally discovers Ash's secret, and from one person to another, a group of people find out who he really is as they venture on a new journey with him.
