After Areya loses a friend and finds out about Cali's sidelife, the two work to keep their sistership intact while they figure out how to take down Keyes, once and for all.

Cali has been plagued by a recurring dream of tragedy. One involving trains, malls, and her own sister. It seems Fate is derailing Areya towards her own death, and Cali must devise a plan that will stop fate itself, and save her sister from an untimely death.

The Glass City isn't the only planet in The New Worlds, and along with some new friends, a past demon that she realizes won't stay in the past, and a lot of trains, Cali Merantine will travel around to some of these planets and moons, getting a glimpse into the truthful reality behind the facade of perfect worlds.
