Which leads you to getting to know the guys and becoming part of the family. But Raph keeps a distance and you don't understand why. Warnings: Violence. Also, this is not my best writing. Definitely still readable though lol and I have no idea where this came from. It was supposed to be a one shot, but morphed into this. ENJOY!!

This is based off the TMNT 2014 movie, everything I wrote here (well usually) is everything I imagined like i'm acting it out (just putting out my acting skills) so I hope you'll like it.

Even after 6 years, Alyssa's life before Splinter took her in is still a mystery to him and the Turtles. Still, they trust her with their lives. Unbeknownst to Alyssa, one of them even trusts her with his heart. But when an old enemy resurfaces, Alyssa's past comes to light, and the question of who trusts who may complicate the team's dynamic. Who was Alyssa before she was part of that team, and why has she kept it from the Turtles for so long? The following is a TMNT 2012 show x OC insert; All characters, excluding the OC belong to Nickelodeon, and the creators of TMNT; For the sake of avoiding copyright infringement, some scenes will be revised and/or removed to signify the differences Brooke's presence creates.

(I'll use MC for the protagonist. I want the reader to be able to read freely, project or insert their own OCs in the story) Life's been a real rollercoaster for you lately. School's a total nightmare, and things at home with mom are a hot mess ever since dad passed away. Just when you're about to throw in the towel, you wake up in a hospital room, and to your shock, your dad's right there with you, but nothing makes sense with the memories you keep. Before you can even process this bizarre reunion, you and your dad are victims of an attempted kidnapping, you being rescued by 4 mutant turtle brothers, who offer to help you find your father. As you get to know them better, you find yourself drawn into their world while trying to understand what's going on with your memories. Little do you know, there's more to your connection with these heroes than meets the eye. Eventual MC x Donatello relationship. A remake of Donatello and April's original relationship dynamic, but slow burned and unrushed, so they can build a true friendship before discovering that either of them have feelings for the other. --------------- I always felt like Donnie crushin' on April in the show was a bit off, especially 'cause she never felt the same way and it felt kind of forced. Chatted with my sis 'bout this ongoing plot in the series, and it hit me - the show could've been way cooler if April and Donatello had a tighter connection, giving 'em both the character development they deserved. Figured I had nothin' to lose, so this's what came outta that chat. Hope you dig it! First time putting words on paper, fingers crossed it ain't too shabby. Plus, English isn't my first language, so sorry if the phrasing is a bit off. Just in case, I'll mention neither TMNT 2012 or the fanart used for the cover are mine.
